At the POCForum we've done research on schools and discrimination among POC students. Sadly, it happens too often and maybe be swept under the rug. Those racist comments and mocking of our features may not seem "deep" to others, but it is to you and it is to us. Everyone has a right to feel what they are feeling. No one should be told that the racism they experienced is "not a big deal." Everyone here matters and you and your stories are a big deal. It is important to express your disappointment and not shy away from what you are feeling simply because you are told to. You matter.
